About Denny Jump
I was born in Lima, Ohio, but soon afterwards, my family moved to Alamosa, Colorado where we lived until I was 10. We then moved to Roseville, California (just north of the capital city, Sacramento). In 1967, at the age of 20, I was collected by the United States Army and went off to Vietnam. In 1970, I returned to Sacramento where I finished college obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies.
I have always loved music: Jazz, Blues, Rock, Classical, Native American, and most all ethnic musics. I played some instruments in younger years, but damage to my ears in the military put an end to that. Over the past 5 or 6 years, I have really increased my efforts to improve the quality of my photographs as best I can. So, here I am! I have long had the desire to blend Jazz music, with scenes of Nature and Landscape in a creative way. So that is my quest. My thanks to all of you for your constructive and heartening comments - I intend to keep learning as much as I can. I wish Peace and Love to everyone! Denny

Believ it or not, I primarily use a large Eddie Bauer Messenger Bag which has one shoulder strap, two handles and two pack straps to wear like a pack...this bag has been the best Camera Pack/Carrier/Bag I have run across yet!
