** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

@Julie: Thanks Julie - I highly recommend a visit if you have never been there - it is situated adjacent to the Vietnam Vets Wall - I have some buddies on that wall...not to be forgotten.

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

Beautiful close-up capture! I spotted this under the cover of darkness last month and I may have to process it in B&W as you did here to eliminate the harsh lighting.

P.S. - I couldn't help but notice the message that popped up when my cursor hovered over the photo. Sorry about your loss.

@Steven: Hi Steven - This is what I get for going backwards - sorry again - . Anyway thanks also for your great supportive remarks - Yah I shot this about oh I guess it was around mid morning a few years back during our late March visit and it was initially in color and set back a bit , but I finally decided to hone right in on the crux of the issue - the Nurse is putting pressure on the wound while the aid is assisting in two ways - 1 he is putting additional pressure on here elbow for "pushing" and 2- watching for the you know this is situated very close to the Wall and, yes, I have some good friends there - I do thank you sir.
