Nous reviendrons un jour - We will return One Day

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 17 October 2010 in Landscape & Rural.

And so, for now, we must say goodbye to Joshua Tree National Park. This photo was taken on the last day we visited the Park in March, 2007. Now that we are living in Pennsylvania, we have not had the opportunity to return to Joshua Tree....but we shall. And, for now, we visit there in our heart and mind and in the images that we see.

I hope that you have enjoyed this little tour as much as I have enjoyed presenting it. It has been a chore, yes, but a labor of love, to be sure. From time to time, I will dig up some other images and post them as a surprise.

Finally, I must now tell you, all my friends on AM3, that I will not be posting as many images on AM3 for the foreseeable future. I will post several this week but fewer after that. I have a full-time job (thank goodness) and other commitments, and perhaps must urgently, I have an online course of studies at Photography school that I must complete by June, 2011 or it will be forfeited. For me, there just are not enough hours in a day to do all these things and post daily on the blog. I will continue to view everyone's images and I will comment as often as I possibly can. I do hope you will understand and please know that I cherish all of you and I will definitely be here watching, posting when I can, and commenting as often as possible.

SO now, I Wish all of you all the best from the bottom of my heart and please always remember to: "Hold on to your spirit - Always feel your soul - Honor the magic in your heart." Peace.

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
