I grabbed this image on my lunch hour one day about 4 weeks ago when there was still plenty of fall color around. We are fortunate to have some woods and small creeks nearby, so I often use my lunch hour to tromp around with camera and tripod. This particular creek has a small bridge crossing over it, but there was just way too much brush in front of the bridge to try and include it, so I decided to simplify things. I began looking closer at the elements....As I looked up the creek I noticed - under and just beyond the little bridge - these rocks. Playing around with exposures, I liked how the scene looked when it was tightly zoomed-in, so I decided to just concentrate on this. I slowed the shutter (pulled the old f22 trick to still the water) and with the lighting that was available, I grabbed this photo...Again, this was a "mid-day shot" (see my comment above about "lunch hour") but the mostly yellow leaves really plopped a nice yellow hue onto the water...So here it is! Since I am a "cubicle slave," I have to grab the shots when I can. I really liked the rocks in the lower right because, with the leaves in the middle there the whole thing looks like a bow tie! I hope you enjoy!

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
