If there truly were a "steadfast" rule in photography, Shirley, er, I mean SURELY, this would be the one:
"When taking a shot with a "backup" camera, always make sure that the "primary" camera and all ancillary equipment, is completely out of sight!"
Serioulsy, this image - as you see it - WAS, indeed, intentional! I was sending a photo message on my cell phone to my son-in-law, showing him the basic scene where I was and what I was shooting. However, I will also be the FIRST to admit that I am definitely guilty of committing this crime "for rea!l" It happened once upon a time in a corn field far, far away!
Now, anyone who knows me will tell you that this kind of carelessness
has nothing to do with my age and everything to do with the fact that it was I who did it! Have a cognizant Tuesday!!
** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"
- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)
- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.
::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"; Earth Wind and Fire
