Snowboard Practice in the Backyard

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 19 February 2011 in Sport & Recreation and Portfolio.

Not too many of us can say that we have a snow board / trail bike ramp to use for practice in our own backyard. Amy and her husband and boys have a huge lot at their house in Vermont and Steve built a ramp for the boys to use during all seasons, whether it be for Snowboard or trail bikes..The ramp jump is just barely out of the picture to the right. There is a dip between the ramp and this point here, so the boys can really hone their skills. Steve is a great Dad!!

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
; Earth Wind and Fire
