Giving Way

The ice on this pond and the little island were covered with snow until the middle of last week. Now, the ice begins to thaw just a bit The leaves on the ground, leftovers from the fall , now begin to hasten their journey to rejoin Mother Earth by enriching the soil. The trees begin to stretch and move their branches and prepare to give birth to new buds in another few weeks...Buds which turn to leaves. Time passes as nature awaits the joyful coming of spring - "Le Jois du Printemps!" Spring has begun it's approach...it is not here just yet but soon shall be, as we awake from our sleep.

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
; Earth Wind and Fire
