Before leaving for Vermont last week I was driving around during my lunch hour looking for photo opportunities I decided to check on a nearby orchard...the day was a very strange combination of clouds and clear...The highest trees on the top of the hill still had hoar frost on them while the trees in the lower range were just beginning to sprout golden colored florets, the view all around just seemed to have taken on a rustic appearance. Later that evening, as I was reviewing it on my iMac, the vision seemed to call out for me to try this in an antique hue. So I treated this in antique.
Tomorrow I will show you the "original" version. I would really love it if you would give me your opinions as to which one you like best - as well as any other comments you may have.
Oh, by the way, yes, that's a cow on the slope towards the right side of the frame. He was apparantly trying to "moo-ve" the snow aside to get to the grass ;-)
** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"
- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)
- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.
::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:

ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"; Earth Wind and Fire
