Although it is difficult to tell at this close range, the blossoms on this weeping cherry tree are basically hanging straight downward. In turn, this view is essentially looking almost straight up. The primary subject bunch in the center of the frame were captured by yours truly, craning his neck and shooting straight up "into" the center-focused blossom. The slightly "bokehed" background is actually the outside wall of an old abandoned church which, I believe, was built in the late 1700's. I intend to gather some more images of the old church, but it is not in great shape. I probably should have cropped this image a bit more, but I could not figure out how or where to do so without affecting the overall view.
Finally, I should let you know that, for the most part - and for the foreseeable future, I will not be posting quite as many images as I have in the past. I am running late in my Photo studies and I have several other matters that need my attention. I will post as often and as best I can, trying for 2 or 3 times a week. I WILL continue to comment regularly on your images, so we can all remain in touch. Thanks to everyone! Have a great weekend!
** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"
- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)
- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:

ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
