Red Flame Leaves

Here is a close up view of some of the red leafed bush that we saw yesterday. Although I believe this bush to be a kind of pitisporum, I have yet to pinpoint the variety but i will. I hope you like this one.

Beautiful! The red leaves look like little hands reaching for the sky. Also the narrow dof makes the background look like a painting.

i've never seen anything like this, denny! this plant doesn't seem to grow in our woods. it looks interesting, though, and i see why it caught your attention! wonderful complimentary colors here - red and green - and a beautiful and very effective bokeh!
