Tuesday, I went to a nearby county park that has a really cool little wildflower garden in it (and it also will host zillions of butterflies as June and July progress). I noticed that a parks Biologist was there at the time of my visit we bioth said hello and chatted briefly as we carried on independently with our efforts .....she swooped butterflies into her net and took copious notes.......I tried to battle the heat and noontime sun to grab a couple of decent (sort of) shots....As I was focusing (or trying to focus) on this one here, I asked her "Is this an intoxicated bee that I see lying inside this poppy?" And she said " Probably, the bees love them." And I could see why because this poor drunken bee was lying in the center right hand side of the flower, in a pile of pollen (he is the skinny little black creature lying at an upward angle just to the right of the center of the flower). I guess poppies can make "stone junkies" out of a bee as well as a person! Oh well, better to dream with a smile than be awake with a frown!

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)
- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
