** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
; Earth Wind and Fire

Nice to see your rhodies on the east coast! Finally have some time to catch my breath a check out other blogs! I like your POV - backlight makes these flowers translucent. Looks as if you had a soft rain come through also - very nice image. Hope all is well. I'm up very early this morning to get my sons off for a round of golf near Pebble Beach. A winter-like storm is hitting us right now so they are going to get a bit wet!

4 Jun 2011 12:54pm

@Don Smith: Hi Don and Thank you so very much. I KNOW you definitely need some R&R. Watching the weather channel last night Dr Forbes was taking abot the oncoming storm and I just thought Wow!
