Staying "connected!" Another new toy, a new way to communicate. Whatever happened to eye-to-eye / face-to-face contact? Or, am I getting too deep and moralistic again? Maybe the most important thing is simply to communicate in any way possible...in a civil manner, regardless of the mode or method.
Marshall McCluhan's famous phrase, "The Message is the Medium" rather frightened me back in the day, but now I can see a true value (no, not the hardware store)....a true value in communicaing however we can in order to bring peace, show our love, express our thoughts and our ideas.
Back to the "basics," here, Grandson Tyler takes a quick break from fun at the shore to text a message to his girl friend up in Vermont....Now, that's peace and Love, man!
** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"
- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)
- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.
::Words from Denny:

EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"; Earth Wind and Fire
