Storm Ending - Easton, PA

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 17 June 2011 in Plant & Nature.

We have had some heavy storms pass through Western New Jersey and Eastern PA during the last month. Lightning, a near tornado a few weeks ago and heavy rain downpours were standard. Here is a look at a recent storm as it tried to decide what it wanted to do and where it wanted to go.Taken at sundown with the last light shining through an opening. I like this shot (although a bit noisy) because it features a variety of cloud formations and textures. I hope yoou enjoy it.

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
; Earth Wind and Fire
