Bee Balm - monarda didya

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 30 June 2011 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

A QUICK NOTE: I WILL BE "OUT OF COMMISSION" FOR A WHILE DUE TO A MEDICAL PROCEDURE THAT I WILL BE HAVING TODAY....NOTHING SERIOUS AT ALL...BUT I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO RESPOND TO COMMENTS.

I WISH EVERYONE IN CANADA A VERY HAPPY CANADA DAY, TOMORROW (PLEASE SEE MY BLOG TOMORROW, FOR MY SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO CANADA)....ALSO, MAY I WISH A VERY HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY TO ALL MY FELLOW USA CITIZENS!

These flowers are in the mint family and are completely herbal, medicinal and lovely. The blooms range about 3-4 inches in diameter and just reallycatch the eye with their unique "red spider" like shape. I hope you enjoy this one!

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
; Earth Wind and Fire
