Quick off the Stance

This is our middle grandson, Tyler, age 12. Here, he is almost at full speed while the defensive player is still wondering what is happening. Tyler is quicker than the blink of a mosquito's eyelash. This image was captured on Thursday evening, 6 October......The following Saturday evening, he "busted loose" for a weaving, twistng 24 yard run, needling his way (a la Barry Sanders) through holes in the defensive line. Unfortunately, I was not positioned to capture that one, but it was awesome to watch. His dad told me that he usually has at least one such run in almost every game. Tyler certainly has become the "go to guy" when yardage is needed! His team is "The Chargers"...they seem to be much better than the pro team of the same name!

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
; Earth Wind and Fire
