The Man - Justin Roberge - Number 31

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 16 October 2011 in Sport & Recreation and Portfolio.

This is our 16 year old grandson, Justin. He plays on "both sides of the ball" (meaning he can play both offense and defense when called upon). Here, he is running out of an offensive stance to block for another receiver. Justin is a durable and fast runner (he runs track and is also very speedy running the basepaths in baseball). When he plays defense, he has had plenty of opportunity to chase down opposing receivers. This year, Justin is playing on the Junior Varsity football team at Essex High School in Essex Junction, Vermont. We are so very proud of all three boys as well as the marvelous job our daughter, Amy, and her husband Steve have done raising these three fine boys!

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
; Earth Wind and Fire
