Yuengling Brewery Part 7

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 13 December 2011 in Lifestyle & Culture.

Bottles, Bottles, everywhere! On the day we visited the bottling /canning facility, cans were moving through, being filled with Yuengling's classic lager (see tomorrow's post). These bottles were awaiting their turn for the next day, perhaps. I was actually quite happy about this because the bottles were situated just to our right as we entered the facility and the sun was shining through the far windows. All of this made for a pretty neat looking reflection and view.

Although I may in the coming weeks, "throw in" one or two additional images relative to Yuengling, Tomorrow's image will be the "official" close of this series! So, with that in mind, I wish to sincerely thank all of you intrepid souls who have followed along on this very long and rivetting series! I am sure that each day must have had everyone sitting on the edge of their seat wondering "Oh wow, this is so fantastic! I wonder what Denny will thrill us with tomorrow?!" But, seriously, I was very impressed with the nostalgia of this place, along with the history of being the oldest continuously operating US Brewery. Additionally, the old, buildings and employee esprit de corps that was evident here was impressive. I know that most of my shots were really just snapshots, but I still had fun putting them up for display. And so, I do want to thank all of you for following along on the ride ;-)

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
