HI EVERYONE - I JUST WANT TO TELL EVERY ONE OF YOU HOW GRATEFUL AND OVERWHELMED I AM BY YOUR CONTINUED KINDNESS AND WONDERFUL COMMENTS TO ME ON MY BLOG. EVEN THOUGH I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO VISIT OR COMMENT ON OTHER'S BLOGS, STILL ALL OF YOU HAVE CONTINUED TO POST WONDERFUL MESSAGES OF KINDNESS TO ME! I AM SO OVERWHELMED BY THIS! THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH! ....I SHOULD BE BACK NEXT WEEK SOMETIME AND I WILL BE ABLE TO VISIT YOUR BLOGS MORE OFTEN. AGAIN, PLEASE ALLOW ME THANK YOU EVERY ONE - ALL MY LOVE TO ALL OF YOU - HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Just "messin' around" one evening at the big Roberge table (at our daughter's house in Vermont), I hit the shutter after composing on this random collection of items that were on the table. Later, as I was checking the image on Barbara's Mac Book Pro (which doubles as our "travel computer), it occured to me that this assemblage of items: the plate from 1976, the smowman circa 1998, the computers from more recent times, and the candles, timeless... all seem to comprise a sort of collage that could represent the passing of time,as well as the changes we have all gone throughin the process. From simpler years as conveyed by the scene on the plate, to more technical times (the computers). Despite their various origins when all gathered together, they seem to coexist peacefully. I can think of nothing better to wish for in the coming years than peace and coexistence. Love and best wishes to everyone!!

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
; Earth Wind and Fire
