A Snowy Day's Walk

Well, FINALLY, on Friday night / Saturday morning, we were treated with a nice amount of snow here in Eastern Pennsylvania. Plus, it was the cool fluffy stuff, like they get out west. Not wet or heavy. Still, after about an hour, we were starting to feel it as we plodded through the soft snow. But we had a great time. This view is of the area just on the south side of our condominium neighborhood. To the right of the treeline is a cornfield (in summer). Just to the left (buried under the snow) is a walking and bike path that Barbara and I use quite regularly. The trail leads up and over the slight ridge (straight into the frame here) and continues for quite a distance. I always liked the feel of this line of trees as they approach the top of the small ridge and drop down the other side...sort of a natural "leading line" I think. I hope you enjoy as well.

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
