Aren't we all.
I hope you find it this weekend :-)

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
; Earth Wind and Fire

Christine from Ellemford, United Kingdom

I love the limited colours of the magnifecent sky and the green plants. A lovely calm image. Have a great weekend Denny

@Christine: Hi Christine - Thank you so much. This is a field of soy that the farmers "switch off" with corn, i.e. some years they plant corn, and some years they plant soy...The tall "searching party" here, is corn from the preceding year-- I captured this a few summers ago...nothing growing in our nearby fields right now -) Cheers, you two!

Eric Cousineau from Sherwood Park, Canada

Gorgeous! Love those stalks. I think the search remains the point of it all; the ups and downs, hopes and lost dreams, all designed to keep us moving forward. (which is why I appreciate a sweet photo like this one, where I can STOP for a while)
