Clearwater, FL Sunset - Photo by Justin Roberge

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 16 March 2012 in Landscape & Rural.

My Grandson Justin (16) Captured this sunset shot at Clearwater, FL on March 2, 2012 with his mobile phone. I did some processing of the image by cropping and making some, curve, shadow, and highlight adjustments in Camera Bag and Snapseed. This was the outcome. Justin did a great job! :-)

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:

Justin's photo and your processing are wonderful. The only suggestion I would make is that Justin place his subject (the sun in this case) slightly off-center. Otherwise, this is a SUPER image! ♥
