I awaken slowly from a deep and heavy dream
More like a nightmare really, it certainly would seem,
I'm off the chopper, my feet in the mud
shots fired at us, Mortars land with a thud
We run for cover, and without control, I scream
Then I awaken and realize that I am here
I lie in a sweat but, thank God, I am here
A deep Dark Dream that visits me now and then
All these years later, about where I have been
But I am the lucky one
Because I did come home
To my love and my life and All I have known
To those who have served but did not return
I will always remember, I will let the flame burn,
And, in all ways that I can I will remember.
And I will say "Thank You Brothers and Sisters...and "Welcome Home"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)
- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.
