Here is another somewhat "broad" view of the preserve to give you an idea. I will have a few more of this longer style, but, soon, i will show some images that are much more intimate. I just love getting in close to see details and the small things that are so important in nature.
Here, we see a couple of Mallards (Mom and Dad) cavorting in the water.
I was so thrilled with what I found at John Heinz Refuge that I did not quite notice so much how reflective that some of the plants (and water) were, due to the approaching mid-morning conditions. I was having too much fun. Using the circular polarizer certainly helped but the leaves and water were very reflective. I hope you enjy this, regardless.
