Hi Everyone - I apologize for not responding or commenting to anyone lately. We were busy with some business and also we needed to make travel and hotel arrangements because we learned (on Wednesday night) that our grandson, Tyler's Essex Town (Vermont) Little League All Star team won their district tournament and will now play in the Vermont State Tournament in Brattleboro, Vermont! The winner of the tournament will advance to Bristol, CT for the US Eastern finals later next week and into the following week. The winner of THAT tournament will advance to the famed Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA, which will take place from mid to late August).

The Vermont State tournament will begin tomorrow (Saturday) and will continue through Tuesday (or Wednesday depending on the outcome of games and other factors). Barbara and I will be driving over on Saturday morning so we can catch at least 2 games on the weekend. I will let you know how "we" did as soon as I can, but I will be essentially out of touch all weekend and into next week. Thanks for understanding and please, all of you, have a great weekend, everyone!

ps - By the Way - Guess which one is our grandson Tyler :-)!!

And GO ESSEX TOWN LITTLE LEAGUE ALL STARS!!

PS - Credit to the late Curtis Mayfield, one of my true heroes, who wrote and performed this great song: "Move on Up!" It is a very inspiring song.

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
