Done for the Year

Posted by

Well, the little league baseball season has ended for our valiant players, the Essex Town All Stars! But heads are high as they certainly "gave it a ride!" They have nothing to be ashamed of! They are the third best team in Vermont! Not too shabby when considering there are close to 90 teams in the state at that age level.

This rather empty scene (with a touch of Snapseed treatment by yours truly) rather depicts the empty feeling we all had last week. But that feeling was short lived and quickly overtaken by pride and love for these great young men. The sun continues to shine and all the guys had high spirits in the end.

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
