"Don't Turn Your Back on me, Baby"

Posted by

Carlos Santana sang these words in one of his songs about a love in his life.
This lady is the love in all of our lives - her nickname is "Lady Lberty." She was a gift to the USA from the people of France. Here, in this place, she now represents so much and has inspired so many around the world.

Lady Liberty would never turn her back on us. But some have turned their back on her and the principals thst I think she represents: Freedom, Opportunity, Love, Tolerance, and most importantly, Support and Care for those in need. There are those who would have otherwise by saying: I am rich, you are not. I have what I want, you are on your own. "

we need to be careful.

Mrs J and I should be in Vermont by the time you see this. I'll try to post some colour soon...if the rain ever stops :-)

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
