I Miss it Already

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 28 November 2012 in Landscape & Rural.

This is the view in the Autumn that Barbara and I have when we walk from our place down to The Bushkill Creek (across the road and behind the trees). The leaves are completely gone now and, although the trees themselves are beautiful to me, I still miss those fall colours, even though they have only been gone for a few weeks. It's just that autumn is such a very short time as it is, and this year, it seemed to be even shorter. So yes, I miss this view already ;-)

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
