Our son David celebrates his 37th birthday today! He was born in Seattle, Washington, December 18, 1975, on a very crisp, cold, clear, and beautifully bright morning. I will never forget the happiness Barbara and I had on that day.
We have watched David grow from a young, smiling, red-haired kid to an older (but still smiling) loving husband and father to his beautiful wife, Lyndsy, and their little girl, Aurora.
There were some challenges along the way when he was growing up, as there usually are...But, those challenges served to help build this wonderful father, husband, and son into the man we know today.
David's sincere concern for the welfare of others, human rights, the protection of children, and respectful relations among all have been a constant ingredient in his soul. His friends are life-long friends because of the love, loyalty, and respect that he has for them. His concerns are heartfelt. His strength of character and purpose are undying and these qualities make him a person whom others look to, listen to, and gather around.
So, today, as David becomes "just a bit" older, Barbara and I are feeling "quite a bit" older ourselves :-)....But that feeling of age is soothed by the joyful tears of love, and pride that we have for him!
Happy Birthday David - we love you so much!

We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)
- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
