The White Curtain

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 20 February 2013 in Plant & Nature.

The wall of sound, the flash of white;
The movement, the fury, So beautiful.
A curtain of Geese with black-tipped wings
Check out all those guys still in the water....!

I did not have an idea how to fit such an image into our computer screens, but just imagine if you can, the reality of the situation that this scene you are looking at here is at least once again in size to the left and once again in size to the right...

Even as I shot my camera, my mouth was wide open - with a big smile.
I was loving it :-) I hope you do as well. <3

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
; Earth Wind and Fire
