Here But Gone

Hi Everyone -

On Wednesday, May 1, I will be having surgery to correct a rather significant issue of sagging eylids (ptosis) and eyebrows. I know, it sounds a bit humorous, really, but the problem actually does affect my field of vision significantly, according to the tests that the doctors have administered. Unfortunately, it has little to do with the "quality (or lack thereof) of my images .... oh well.

My initial recovery time will be about a week or so. However, from an appearance standpoint, I am told that for several weeks, I will resemble someone who has gotten into a scrap with a Bobcat. From a comfort standpoint, 3 or 4 weeks may go by before I can use the camera to any great extent. But I am hopeful that period won't be so long.

I will do my best keep everyone posted on my progress and I will certainly try to visit everyone's blog because that is what I really like to do.

Feel free to check-in with me any time you want by selecting the contact option at the bottom of my page.

My love and best wishes to you all..Thank you so very much -

Love, Denny

Hi Den, Hope you are doing okay. I think a good photo for your blog would be what you look like right now! Black and blue? Or maybe not. Seriously, take it easy. I remember when you were little (5 years old?) and had both eyes covered after surgery and I would read to you. I'm sure Barbara is doing all she can for you. Take care and keep us all informed. Love you. Peggy
