The "Out of Towners"

Well, finally, We will be in Vermont beginning Thursday (tomorrow), making up for the "lost trip" that we planned to take a month or two ago. Tyler, our middle grandson, is graduating from middle school and we will also be making a VERY quick trip up to Montreal (1-1/2 hour drive from Burlington, VT) to watch Tyler's Baseball team play a local Montreal team in a series of games on Saturday and Sunday. Of course , I will be snapping my usual 10,798 (or thereabouts) images of the baseball games..... but I will, most definitely, try to get in as many Montreal / Vermont/ Family / Fathers Day shots that I can. Hopefully I can post at least one image while we are up that way! I would hate to depress you by making you view this gray scene for too long. But I have been wanting to post this thing for months. It is actually a shot that I captured during the winter of 2011 at Coney Island in New York City, when we stopped for a few minutes to show David and Lyndsy while we drove them back to JFK Airport....OK I have talked enough, sorry.... See you soon :-)

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
