Softly, Through the wood

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 7 November 2013 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Spiritual Healing comes so easily here;
If we take a quiet walk in the woods...
we dream, we breath.......We Think.
And then, perhaps, a song comes to mind.....
It flows though our body like the very blood which keeps us alive;
Our feet float along the path.
The trees, leaves, and pine needles blend into a yellow-green blur as we reach out with our heart and eyes to sense the beauty even more...
we ask "Why does it have to end?"
Spiritual Healing.... comes so easily here.

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
