A Dangerous Fishing Trip!

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 27 May 2014 in Landscape & Rural.

Amidst the deafening roar of the falls plummeting from hundreds of feet above, smashing into rocks and roaring down stream, these birds seem to take everything in stride as they look for "easy pickings."

Niagara Falls is truly an amazing place. Certainly, there are throngs of visitors at certain times of the year, and even in winter, many people come. But during our short visit there, I found if we just enjoyed it for what nature has given us, and ignore the crowds around us as much as possible, Niagara Falls (Canada and USA) holds a magnificent gift for the soul!

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
; Earth Wind and Fire
