A few weeks ago,I stopped at the lake near my work, I wasn't sure that things would be very photogenic. There was mid-level fog and high level clouds. It was not very exciting, The sun was completely invisible - just a glow from the sky..."flat light," one might say.
After about 15-20 minutes, I was walking back towards the car. I looked up and saw the sun peeking from between some fog and cloud layers...just a dot. The dot grew bigger and I looked down at the water and there was the reflection of the sun in the water as well! It was amazing. T
Now, I must be honest and tell you that I processed this image....all in NIK "Color Efex Pro," and "Viveza 2". I wanted to accentuate the drama that was truly present with the sun's appearance above and below. But No HDR was used here, at all..I hope you like this :-)

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)
- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.
