Pennsylvania Sunset Walk

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 19 July 2014 in Landscape & Rural.

Walking along a semi-rural road beside Corn and Soy fields, on one side and houses on the other, Barbara and I often enjoy this walk. The air is always fresh and I absolutely love to watch the crops grow. The sunsets are always an extra added treat. Captured this with my iPhone...I had a "hunch" that the telephone poles and wires might actually add a cool linear vision to the frame. What do you think? I processed the image in Nik Viveza 2, Color Efex Pro 4, Nik Dfine, and Nik Sharpener Pro 3...in that order.

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
; Earth Wind and Fire
