With all his might, the pitcher jettisons the ball towards the catcher;
The batter has to make a split second commitment: "Am I going to go for this sucker or wait for the next"
If his eye and hands and body and arms and concentration and skill and power and desire and brutality all come together in that one split second decision to allow the batter to do what he wants to do, the ball is history. -
If the pitcher is cunning and skillful and patient and brutal enough, his pitch will win the day.
In this particular scene, the guy swinging the bat, my grandson Tyler, Killed the ball for a double. See ya at the next "at bat" partner!!
