Baseball - Vermont Style

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 29 June 2015 in Sport & Recreation.

So, the reason you have not heard from me for several days is that we spent another long weekend in Vermont watching Tyler and Ryan play Baseball and enjoying the outdoors.

Baseball in Vermont is very typical of this scene: If you get tired of the game, there's always Vermont's beauty to look at. This image is probably a bit confusing. I shot it from way across an adjacent ball field , shooting into field play. You see beautifull Mt Mansfield in the backdrop.

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:

"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
