From Darkness Comes the light

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 23 April 2016 in Abstract & Conceptual.

The evening light, just before sunset, came shining through these branches and seemed amazing to me as I walked along our nearby creekside. The clouds were rolling over head and light was casting through the woods as best it could...Springtime is full of little rebirths like this. .

TO ALL : Please accept my apologies for being so scarce lately. I have been out of sorts just a bit. Still recuperating from a procedure performed some months ago, some days are fine and some are not so fine. But the main problem is that lately we have been traveling back and forth to Vermont, so I am rather preoccupied. Thanks to all of you for being so kind and patient. My love and best wishes to all - I'll try to improve my responses and visits to your wonderful pages :-)

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
