Look to the Skies

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 27 May 2016 in Landscape & Rural.

At Sunrise of most any day, my senses are searching for an awakening. I see the light and clouds or the clear sky and I instantly think about the day before me, waiting to be shared and experienced.

At Sunset my senses may be calmer. The events of the day have shaped my passions and thoughts.

The great equalizer is the sky. My feelings engage with the beauty I see and somehow I take a step backward and breath. I look at the sky, feel the air, hear the sounds, and I hope that somewhere out there lies a purpose and a dream that we can all hold on to.

And, to me, that is why.....why I Look to the skies.

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
