Peony Visions - How "Sweet" it is!

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 8 June 2016 in Abstract & Conceptual.

I will be completely honest right from the start, here. Some will not be too "jazzed" by this image. And that's totally ok. But when I was playing around in our Peony garden, shooting shots and just having fun, I wondered what my Singh Ray "Pro Mist" filter - developed by famed Photographer Tony Sweet - would do with these beautiful flowers. So I put on the Tony Sweet filter and began shooting away....This is one of the examples of what resulted in my fun and frenzy.

After viewing this, some of my friends and relatives exclaimed that it looked like a painting. I rather think it does, as well. On the other hand, some were not too excited about it. But the Singh Ray Pro Mist filter by Tony Sweet certainly provided a different look and a topic for discussion :-)

I would love to hear your comments, pro or con...it's OK - I'm old - I can take it :-) Cheers to all of you .... dj

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
