"....Oh Beautiful for Spacious Skies, for Amber Waves of Grain...."
And so goes the anthem, "America" - Meanwhile, we wait to see what the fate will be of our nation when presidential elections take place this November.
Will it be a nation of stability or turmoil?
Clarity or confusion?
Peace or anger?
Environmental action or further degradation?
Coexistence or bitterness?
These things that we, perhaps never thought, would be in question are indeed....now in question.
So, on this Fourth of July - America's Independence Day - I wish that all that is right and good remains right and good....and all that is hatred and isolationist is dashed on the rocks like a rotten egg.
** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"
- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)
- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.
