Looking out the front door of the house we now live in, there is, I think, a particular strand of Japanese maple that Barbara's sister has cared-for over the years. This time of year, the leaves turn a beautiful purple/red color. The tree stands under a larger Blue Spruce, and to the rear is the east where the sun rises
I captured this image standing just outside the front door, shooting eastward as the rising sun was casting a golden light onto and behind the trees. The brightness was such that a Pink color was created on the little Japanese Maple's leaves. All the other colors you see here are mixed and blended by the shadows and backlighting of the sun. All I used was my Singh Ray Color Polarizing filter.
I was absolutely amazed to see what I saw through my lens.....I hope you like this - would love to hear your comments....
