Wild Creek-Falls

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 10 May 2017 in Landscape & Rural.

I shot this in late May of 2015 when I took a quick trip to a place called "Wild Creek in Pennsylvania. The creek tumbles down a mountainside and into a reservoir named Beltzville Lake, that is just downstream from where this image was shot. The falls are beautiful, there are about 6 or 7 sets of small falls that are easy to get to and a pleasure to watch.I hope you like this.

I WILL BE TRAVELING FROM 12 MAY UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 19 MAY - PLEASE EXCUSE MY SPORADIC VISITS AND RESPONSES DURING THAT TIME FRAME...THANK YOU.

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
