Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 1 July 2017 in Landscape & Rural.

Today, July 1, 2017, is Canada's 150th Birthday....My beloved friends in Canada - I wish you all a wonderful Canada Day! You deserve it. your wonderful Nation has remained steadfast, strong and peaceful for so long. I am privileged and so proud to know that I have some Canadian blood in my veins as well....I will always be proud of that fact and I will always be proud of my friends and comrades from Canada, one of whom - John Anderson from Ontario, served in the United States Army and paid the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam.
This is a day for all of Canada to celebrate and be proud! Rain or shine, Oh Canada - I Love You!!

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
