Sunrise Song Bird

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 13 December 2017 in Landscape & Rural.

I made this image 2 years ago on a cool New Jersey October Morning...(Don't ever let anyone tell you that New Jersey and Pennsylvania are ugly states!). I Was standing in a favorite spot near my work office and was mesmerized by the colors in this sunrise.....When all of a sudden to my wondering eyes (or something like that) there appeared a beautiful bird in my lens - in the view of my lens, that is... I figured this was the time that I should hit the shutter...so I did.
Since that snap, this has been one of my favorite images....Nothing technically special...but colors, colors, colors....and a cool bird
I hope you enjoy this ;-)

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
