My original title for this image was "In the Beginning" because
it reminded me of what that time may have looked like in the beginning of time...
This is one from the archives of my good old Olympus E-510!
That poor little camera only had a tolerable limit of 15 MP, but the 4/3 sensor really did a nice job with colors and artistic stuff...and it was light as a feather...I rather miss my Olympus gear now, because of its light weight ...oh well
This was captured at our daughter Amy's house in Essex Vermont!
It was a very difficult image to make....
I had to walk from the kitchen to the deck on the back of her house ;-)...
Of course, I DID have to get out of bed early and set up the tripod!
I hope you enjoy.
** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"
- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)
- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.
::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"; Earth Wind and Fire
