"Winooski from Space!"... (sort of)

Well, This is what I get for promising images before I actually dive into them to see if they are indeed suitable for presentation!! ;-) Also, I am a day late posting this image - I apologize for both of the above situations ;-)

This is the Winooski River flowing through Winooski, Vermont at dusk.....(You may have figured that out)....I had to do some serious work to make this image somewhat presentable...Long story - I won't bore you....

This image was made on July 4 just about 8:49 PM, Eastern Daylight Time - The triangular-shaped object that you see in the lower-middle part of the frame is a rock that sits there - and I shot this from the trail that runs along side the Winooski ("Onion" in First Nations/Native American language) River.
The rock reminds me of something floating in space....thus, my title for this (and future) images ;-)

What you are looking at, here, is part of the refurbished, revitalized "downtown" of Winooski. The large Building in the middle of this frame is the old original mill that is now rehabilitated and contains shops and other mostly small businesses. Just to the right of the riverside building is another large building that contains apartments and condominiums and other small businesses on the bottom.

Up the street to the right (out of the picture) our Son-in-law, Steve and his sister own a combination art studio / local draft beer spot....They are gaining popularity.

Other condos and apartments also surround the area, as it is a very popular place to live - close to local colleges and the University and also close to downtown Burlington, Vermont

So there we are....I hope you enjoyed this little story....Hopefully, I will be able to get back on track and post more images, as promised, more frequently, now...

Thank you so much for your kindness ;-) <3
