I made this image a few nights ago as I was walking around the neighborhood after dark...
It was raining, but I had my camera tucked down into my zip-front sweatshirt to keep it dry between shots....
Soon, I came up a hill to a flat area and I looked to my left to see this scene!
It first reminded me of a movie shot where the hero is walking out of the fire....But, then, the scene immediately got me thinking about the recent fires in California (where I used to live.) and all the victims and fire fighters....
So With that, I would like to dedicate this image to all the folks who lost their homes, property, and lives....and to all the brave fire fighters who go into the flames in order to save people and property!
Thank Heaven for The Fire Fighters!
PS- This is not a real fire, it is actually the amber-toned street light reflection onto wet yellow leaves of trees.
