The Light of Truth

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 4 April 2019 in Landscape & Rural.

Here, the old phrase "We Seek the Truth" is gaining a massive volume of importance.

Truth is often interfused with the concept of Light. And is such an important aspect of life and human interaction!

I came upon this scene early Saturday morning as I was stumbling over fallen trees and into ruts left by animals .... I raised my head, thankfully, to see the sunrise as it gave birth to a new day here in the Pacific Northwest woods....I hope you like it!.

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

::Words from Denny:
- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:
EARTH WIND AND FIRE;
"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
; Earth Wind and Fire

This is what matters; our connection to mama Earth, loved ones and friends. All that other crap should never supplant what is truly vital to our mental well being. Beautiful gradations of light and hue, Denny, and a fine shot !

@B. Thomas: Surprisingly Beautiful day today ...PNW will do that ... it gets a burr up it’s butt and decides to defy the smart aleck forecasters..However, rain is yet again in the forecast for late late late tonight and morning tomorrow (Friday). Best advice is be aware of the forecast but just go ahead and enjoy as best you can... Have a good flight - will be here if you need ANYTHING!!! PS - I worry so please just send me a howdy after you get settled.. Have a good one, guys!! <3
